What is ShipGives?
ShipGives is a 24 hour fundraising initiative, asking all members of the Ship Family to unite to make an impact for Ship! Starting April 8 at noon through April 9 at noon we are calling on all alumni, parents and friends to make a gift to support Ship!
Why should I give?
Donor support enhances the mission of Shippensburg University. Support is critical to provide a world-class education at Shippensburg University, while also keeping tuition affordable. All gifts no matter the size, have an impact in providing opportunities for Ship students.
Where does the money I donate go?
You may designate your gift to your specific area of interest, or you may contribute to Ship's Greatest Needs which allows your gift to be used where it is needed most.
Is my contribution tax-deductible?
Is there a minimum donation amount?
How can I get involved?
You can get involved during ShipGives by making a gift, and encouraging others to do so as well. Sign up to be a ShipGives Ambassador on the Get Involved page. When you sing up to be an ambassador, you'll receive a personal link to share on social media, or anywhere you network with friends and family. You can post on social media and use the hashtag #ShipGives, and use our social images on the Get Involved Page to help spread the word.
Will my employer match my gift?
Does my gift count toward Raiders Club benefits?
Yes, any gift made to an athletic fund will count toward Raider Club benefits!
Does my gift count toward Luhrs Circle of Friends benefits?
Yes, any gift made to the Luhrs Circle of Friends will count toward Luhrs Circle of Friends benefits!
